Individual therapy Strasbourg β€’ La Wantzenau β€’ online

Individual therapy for adults when it feels heavier than it should.

When you’re tired of carrying too much alone, individual therapy offers a place to slow down, understand what is happening more clearly, and work through anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, stress, and important life transitions with serious, thoughtful support.

Sessions are available in English, French, and Russian, in person in La Wantzenau near Strasbourg, or online.

Signs you may benefit from individual therapy

You may recognise yourself here

Some challenges are easy to name. Others are harder to explain, but no less real. Do you recognise yourself here?
Therapy begins by taking these experiences seriously and understanding what is happening beneath them.

how individual therapy may help

What we may focus and work on together

Every person’s story is different. Your life experience is unique. Here are some of the areas I most often support in therapy, both men and women.

Emotions & Inner Balance

Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm
When your mind keeps running, your body stays tense, or your emotions feel difficult to manage, therapy can help you understand what triggers these patterns and develop a steadier way of responding.

Confidence & Self-Trust

Self-doubt, low confidence, and harsh self-criticism
If you constantly question yourself, minimise yourself, or feel like nothing you do is ever enough, therapy helps you understand the pattern rather than simply fight it.

Relationship With Others

Relationship difficulties and boundaries
When relationships leave you confused, unheard, emotionally drained, or unsure how to express your needs, therapy can help you understand the dynamics at play and respond with more clarity.

Pressure & Exhaustion

Chronic stress, overload, and loss of energy
When pressure becomes a way of living, it often affects sleep, concentration, mood, confidence, and relationships. Therapy helps make that pressure more understandable and more manageable.

Life Transitions

Difficult periods, setbacks, and change
A breakup, burnout, career disruption, identity shift, or major life change can leave you feeling disoriented. Therapy offers a place to process what has happened and regain a clearer sense of direction.

Identity & Self-knowledge

Patterns you want to understand more deeply
Sometimes the question is not only how to feel better, but why certain patterns keep repeating. Therapy can help you make sense of them with more precision and less self-blame.

what can change through individual therapy

Therapy does not remove every difficulty from life

But it can change the way you understand yourself, respond to what is difficult, and move through your life. Over time, people often begin to notice:
1

More emotional clarity and less inner confusion

2

Less overthinking and more trust in their own judgment

3

A calmer, less reactive relationship with emotions

4

Clearer communication and stronger boundaries

5

Less self-criticism and more self-respect

6

A greater sense of stability, direction, and inner peace

what to expect ⏐ indvidual therapy strasbourg & online

What to expect in an individual therapy session

The first session is a place to begin understanding what is happening and what kind of support may be useful.

We start with what feels most important to you right now. From there, we clarify the nature of the difficulty, what you would like to change, and what kind of therapeutic work may fit best.

There is no pressure to explain everything perfectly. You do not need to arrive with a complete story or a clear conclusion.

Therapy is a process. The first session is simply the beginning of that process.

Who individual therapy is best suited for

Could this be the right place to start?

A first session often makes this clearer. But these points may help you sense whether this way of working is likely to suit you.

This may be a good fit if…

  • you want support that is serious, thoughtful, and structured
  • you are ready to look more honestly at what is happening
  • you want more than temporary reassurance
  • you are willing to engage in the work over time

This may be less suitable if…

  • you are looking only for quick advice
  • you want someone to tell you what to do without deeper exploration
  • if your main need is professional with clear focus on action and goals, coaching may be more appropriate

frequently asked questions

Do you have questions about individual therapy?

How many therapy sessions will I need?
That depends on the nature of what you are dealing with, your goals, and the pace of the work. Some people come for a more focused period, others for longer-term support.
Can therapy help with both anxiety and confidence?
Yes. These difficulties often overlap. Therapy helps us understand how they are connected and how to work with them more effectively.
Are therapy sessions reimbursed by insurance?

At the moment, sessions with me are not reimbursed by Assurance Maladie / CPAM, as I am not yet registered under Mon soutien psy program.

Depending on your contract, your mutuelle may reimburse part of the cost according to its own rules. Some insurers also ask for additional documents, such as a medical certificate recommending psychotherapy sessions or a fee note. For this reason, I can provide a fee note after each session.

Can I contact you before scheduling?

Yes. If you would feel more comfortable asking a brief question first, you are welcome to get in touch.

What happens in the first session?

We begin by looking at what is bringing you here, what feels most important, and what kind of support may be appropriate. You can also ask questions about how I work, fees, and next steps.

Do you work online?

Yes. Sessions are available both in person and online.

In which languages do you work?

I work in English, French, and Russian.

Where in-person sessions take place?

In-person sessions take place in La Wantzenau (near Strasbourg, Alsace) β€” 2 Rue du Nord, 67610 La Wantzenau, France

How do I know whether I should start with therapy or coaching?
If you feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, exhausted, or in need of deeper understanding, therapy is often the better starting point. If you are unsure, we can clarify that together.
