Hi, I'm Anna Maffucci β€”
a warm welcome to my psychology and coaching practice.

I am a licensed psychologist and certified professional coach in Strasbourg.

I support adults who want to understand themselves more clearly, regain confidence in their decisions, manage emotions more effectively, improve relationships, and navigate personal or professional transitions with greater clarity and composure.

I work in English, French, and Russian, in person in La Wantzenau near Strasbourg, and online across France and internationally.

My background β€” clinical psychologist, professional coach, HR transformation executive

No single approach is equally useful for every difficulty.

  • Some people need help understanding a pattern.
  • Some need help regulating what happens in the moment. Some need a clearer way to work with thoughts, beliefs, relationships, or decisions.
  • Some need a more structured assessment before deciding what to do next.

That is why I do not treat methods as identities β€” I use them as tools.

Many people do not experience emotional, relational, and professional difficulties as separate parts of life.

  • Confidence affects work.
  • Work pressure affects relationships.
  • A personal setback changes the way decisions are made.
  • A professional transition can shake identity far more deeply than expected.
My initial training was in clinical psychology at Lomonosov Moscow State University, where I developed a strong foundation in psychological consultation, psychodiagnostic assessment, and the study of emotional and behavioural patterns.
From 2004 onward, I carried out individual and group consultations, psychological evaluations, and seminars on stress management, resilience, and group dynamics.
Alongside this, I built an international career in human resources, leadership development, and organisational transformation.

Over more than two decades, I worked with professionals and leaders navigating pressure, burnout risk, transitions, organisational change, and leadership challenges in multicultural environments.

Today, my practice brings these strands together: psychology, coaching, behavioural understanding, and a grounded appreciation of what meaningful change requires in real life.

how my path shapes my work

I understand that anxiety, self-doubt, exhaustion, and loss of confidence rarely stay in one area of life.

I work with people who are tired of going in circles with the same patterns: overthinking, self-doubt, emotional reactivity, relationship strain, loss of confidence, or difficulty finding a clear direction.

I help people understand what is happening more accurately, regulate what feels overwhelming, and make changes that are realistic, meaningful, and sustainable.

My approach is warm, structured, and analytical. I do not believe that lasting change comes from vague encouragement, empty reassurance, or generic advice.

Depending on your needs, I may draw from:

Neuropsychology
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Positive Psychology
Art Therapy
Systemic Coaching
Psychometric Assessment
Authentic Intelligenceβ„’

The aim is not to push you toward a polished or best version of yourself. It is to help you think more clearly, respond more consciously, and build a more reliable relationship with yourself.

Who I work with & what's possible

Thoughtful support for when you are ready to change

I work with adults who want serious, thoughtful support and who are ready to engage in meaningful change.

Many of my clients are reflective, capable, and demanding of themselves. They may be dealing with anxiety, emotional intensity, low confidence, relationship difficulties, exhaustion, professional pressure, or an important life transition.

Part of my role is to help clarify what kind of support best fits the nature of what you are dealing with.

values and principles of my support

Science-based. Adapted to your rythm. Grounded in authenticity.

Support should not stay at the level of reflection alone. It should help you make sense of what is happening and move differently in daily life, work, and relationships. I value authenticity, trust, and human presence, along with structure, clear boundaries, and work that has direction.

Support grounded in psychological expertise and adapted to your rhythm

Each person progresses at their own pace, but it's important that you have the desire to progress and change the current situation that limits you.

My role is to provide a space for reflection and active listening, clarity, and transformation, respectful of the way you are and your uniqueness. I believe that every client journey is a path toward greater clarity, stability, and inner alignment.

Science-based methods and empathy

I integrate approaches from neuropsychology, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), positive psychology, and art therapy. In my coaching practice, I draw on systemic and strength-based coaching, change management and leadership development models.Β

The goal is to support deep and lasting change, grounded in self-understanding and personal integrity.

Authenticity, confidence and personal growth

I strongly believe in authenticity, and it's not a surprise that authenticity is a core value of my practice as a psychologist and a coach: each of us is unique, and the key to being happy β€” and to successfully navigating personal and professional challenges β€” is to remain true to who we are.

Session after session, we work to build confidence and trust β€” in yourself, in your choices, and in your inner resources β€” and to support the transformation that honours your pace and your personal story.

my commitment to my clients

Expertise, clarity, trust and partnership β€” reliable quality professional support

As a licensed psychologist and professional coach, I’m committed to confidentiality, professional ethics and quality care and support:

Confidentiality & Professional Ethics

My practice is grounded in the ethical principles of both psychological and professional coaching frameworks.

This means a deep commitment to confidentiality, respect, autonomy, and non-judgment.

Clear, Secure & Caring Environment

Each session takes place within a clear, secure, and caring environment that is based on mutual trust and genuine openness.

You can explore your personal or professional questions with complete peace of mind, knowing that what you share is held within an ethical and responsible framework.

Flexible & Accessible Approach

I offer in-person sessions in La Wantzenau (near Strasbourg, Alsace) or online sessions, depending on your needs and preferences.

The online format allows for smooth and continuous support, even if you travel frequently, have limited time, or live abroad. Whatever the distance, the quality of the connection and the follow-up remains the same: confidential, consistent, human, and supportive.
